Granola (Oats Part II)


 This is a non-fat granola my daughter  Rachel has been making with the oats we bought last month.  It's terrific and makes a great snack in addition to a good breakfast cereal. She doesn't use a recipe so as she added the ingredients, I measured them.


Ingredients:
4 cups oats
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
1 cup ground flax
1 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, etc.)
1/2 t. salt
3/4 c. honey
1/3 c. water

Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Wisk honey and water together and add to dry ingredients. Thoroughly combine.  Pour onto large baing sheet coated with cooking spray. Cook for 1 hour stirring every 20 minutes.  Cool.
