Teriakyi Flank Steak, It's all in the Marinade

Dinner Tonight: Flank Steak, Steamed Asparagus, Baked Sweet potato, Salad

This recipe comes form my old Betty Crocker cookbook, the one I recieved as a wedding present back in the 70's. I have usually double the garlic and the ground ginger. If I have fresh ginger on hand, I'll grate it and use that. These days, lower fat is in order so I half the oil. (2 Tablespoons). Here's the recipe as it was originally written.

Teriyaki Marinade
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oil
2T. dry white wine
1 t. sugar
1/2 t. ground ginger
1 clove garlic (diced fine)

Directions - mix the ingredients and pour over meat (Chicken, steak, pork). Marinate 3-4 hours or overnight.
